The Evciler cedar stands inside the village it is named for, at the Köyiçi locality in Evciler village, Gölhisar district of Burdur province — a tree among houses rather than one deep in forest, though black pine and red pine forest surrounds the village. It was registered on 6 September 2002 on 0.10 hectares.
The tree is a cedar of Lebanon, Cedrus libani, given as 250 years old, 27 metres tall, 1.43 metres in trunk diameter and 4.50 metres in girth.
The wildlife the directorate lists is that of the wider area rather than the tree's own ground, and the same list appears on the pages of Burdur's other monument cedars: wild boar, jackal, fox, hedgehog, martens and mole among the mammals, and chukar partridge, swift, sparrowhawk, common buzzard, blackbird, kestrel and peregrine falcon among the birds.
Stated capacity is 500 visitors, with hours of 08:00 to 18:00.
