The juniper known as Fosil Ardıç stands at the entrance to Dineksaray town in Çumra district of Konya province, 50 metres from the main Konya-Bozkır road, on privately owned land.

It was registered as a natural monument in 1994 on 0.05 hectares. Its age is estimated at 519 years, and it measures 10 metres tall, 1.43 metres in trunk diameter and 4.5 metres in girth. The directorate says the tree has become identified with the town itself.
