The aspen registered as a natural monument stands inside the Yakamanastır Tabiat Parkı, within the boundaries of Bademli village in the Beyşehir district of Konya.
The park around it is forest throughout, with black pine, fir and juniper growing as mixed woodland. Among the animals recorded there are hare, fox, wolf, squirrel, tortoise and amphibians, with waterbirds, partridge, quail and white stork, and eagle, buzzard, kestrel and falcon among the birds of prey.
The tree is 8 kilometres from the town of Beyşehir and 3 from Bademli village.
