The aspen registered as a natural monument stands inside the Yakamanastır Tabiat Parkı, within the boundaries of Bademli village in the Beyşehir district of Konya. The Directorate names its imposing appearance as what draws attention to it, but gives no measurements — no age, height or girth is published for this tree.
The park around it is forest throughout, with black pine, fir and juniper growing as mixed woodland. Among the animals recorded there are hare, fox, wolf, squirrel, tortoise and amphibians, with waterbirds, partridge, quail and white stork, and eagle, buzzard, kestrel and falcon among the birds of prey.
The tree is 8 kilometres from the town of Beyşehir and 3 from Bademli village.
