The Garipler Mosque, in the Pazarcık quarter of central Tokat, is known locally as the Green Minaret Mosque, after the green glazed bricks on its minaret.
It carries only one inscription, and that is a repair record in the lower right corner of the mihrab. Its origin comes instead from an endowment deed of Hacı Seyyid Ali Paşa dated 1022 AH (1604), registered in the ledger numbered 600, which records the mosque in the Yazıcık — now Pazarcık — quarter as a foundation of the Danishmend ruler Melik Gazi.
