Gazlıgöl's thermal waters lie beside the Afyonkarahisar–Eskişehir highway, 21 kilometres from the centre of Afyonkarahisar, and visitors from Türkiye and abroad come here every year. The spa offers both bathing and drinking cures, which the Ministry of Culture and Tourism presents as treatments; it also notes the belief that the warm, steamy air inside the enclosed pool halls helps with respiratory complaints.
