The Victory Tower stands on a hill commanding Göynük, built in 1922 by the district governor Hursit Bey in memory of the success at the Battle of Sakarya.
It rises three storeys on a hexagonal stone foundation. The body is timber and hexagonal, narrowing as it goes up, with a railing at each floor, and it is covered by a hexagonal conical cap. It is in the Cuma quarter, in the centre of Göynük.
