Guide

The Aziziye thermal facilities stand in the centre of Aziziye district, west of Erzurum city. The sodium bicarbonate water emerges at 39°C and is used for both bathing and drinking. Citing analyses by the Ministry of Health, the Erzurum directorate of culture and tourism lists a long range of uses, from inflammatory rheumatism, ankylosing spondylitis and osteoarthritis to psoriasis-type skin disease, disc problems and stress-related complaints, with drinking cures recommended for functional stomach and bowel disorders. The complex has indoor and outdoor restaurants, a small prayer room (mescit), lounges and meeting rooms, and an open car park.
