This page covers two separate groups of rock tombs, and gives a third location in its address field without reconciling any of them.
The Turus rock tombs are 40 kilometres from Adıyaman, a kilometre west of the Adıyaman-Şanlıurfa road, and are of the Roman period. They were cut down into the bedrock from ground level, and are entered by descending ten to thirteen steps; some have figures and reliefs on their walls and around their doorways. The Haydaran rock tombs lie 17 kilometres north of Adıyaman, within the bounds of Tasgedik village, and among their carvings is a relief of the sun god Helios shaking hands with King Antiochus. The address given on the same page places the site five kilometres out on the Malatya road, reached by school minibuses.
