Koz Kalesi, also called Kürşat Kalesi, is in the Altınözü district, built on a low hill at the head of the stream where the Kuseyr Çayı rises — a hill whose sides were cut back to form walls. Two semicircular bastions stand on the south side, a hundred metres apart. The gate was on the north, but it has fallen and nothing certain is known of its original form. The eastern side is flat, now given over to a field, and along it survive stables and sections of the wall walk, some of them still sound.
