Horzum plateau lies at the 25th kilometre of the road that runs from Kozan to the districts of Feke, Saimbeyli and Tufanbeyli and on to Kayseri; the village of Çulluusagi, itself a plateau settlement, is at the 31st. Horzum is used by the people of Kozan and sits among pines, plane trees, vineyards and fruit trees.
There are fine timber examples of the local plateau architecture here, and the place is inhabited rather than seasonal in the practical sense: shops, a country coffee house and restaurants, a health post, telephone and electricity. Buses and minibuses running between the districts reach it all year round, in winter as in summer, and there is room to camp and picnic.
