Meryemana Nature Park lies in the Selçuk district of İzmir, near the House of the Virgin Mary. It opened in 2012.
There are walking paths and tracks within the park, along with picnic grounds and viewing points. Pine forest and olive groves grow here, and birds, butterflies and other wildlife can be seen.
The park was created to protect the natural setting of the House of the Virgin Mary — a place held sacred in Christianity and often visited — and to offer more to those who come.
