Yamanlardağı Nature Park is not open to visitors; the directorate says so at the end of its page. It nevertheless records a capacity of 157 vehicles and 44 tents and hours running from 00:01 to 23:59.
The site has a particular history. Before it was a nature park it was used by the Ministry of Health as a sanatorium in the campaign against tuberculosis, and an old hotel building and stone bungalows still stand on it. The directorate also states that the oxygen proportion of the air there is above the world average; it gives no measurement, date or method for that claim.
The park covers 39.70 hectares, given in the text as 40, in Karşıyaka district of İzmir. It was declared on 11 July 2011 and its development plan was approved in 2013. The page names no plant or animal.
It lies 17 kilometres from Karşıyaka.
