At 120 years the Yemişçi stone pine is one of the youngest trees in the monument register, after the Teos terebinth. Unlike that tree, whose page explains why it was protected, this one gives no reason at all.
It stands 25 metres tall, with a trunk 1.20 metres across and 3.90 metres in girth, and its general condition is recorded as good. The 2.5 decares around it in Güzelbahçe district of İzmir were declared a natural monument on 27 July 1995 — two days after the Yemişçi plane, a separate monument in the same district sharing the same name.
Capacity is 60 visitors and 20 vehicles, with hours of 07:00 to 21:00.
