This is the second of two multiple-tree chestnut monuments in İzmir province, and the smaller: sixteen trees inside the Ovacık recreation area in Bayındır district, against eighteen at Gölcük in Ödemiş. It was declared in 1995; the area record dates it to 1 January, which suggests only the year is known.
The measurements come as ranges. The trees are around 500 to 700 years old, with girths from 4.65 to 9.50 metres, trunk diameters from 1.48 to 3.03 metres, and heights between 8 and 18 metres — noticeably shorter overall than the Gölcük group, which reaches 24 metres.
Their condition is recorded in the same terms as the Gölcük trees: the branches were pruned by local people in past years, and hollows have formed in most of the trunks because of their age.
The protected ground is 2.5 decares. Capacity is 300 visitors and 60 vehicles, with hours of 07:00 to 21:00.
