The Yarendere stone pine stands in the Güzelbahçe district of İzmir, on a site of 2.5 dönüm declared a natural monument in 1995.
The tree is between 165 and 170 years old, 30 metres tall, 1.62 metres in diameter and 4.10 metres around, and its trunk is a single piece. The Directorate records its condition plainly: several of the main branches have broken in the wind, and insect damage has developed where they broke.
