The Muradiye complex stands in the Osmangazi district and is the last complex built in Bursa by an Ottoman sultan. Murad II had it put up between June 1425 and November 1426, and it holds a mosque, a medrese, a soup kitchen, a bath and tombs. It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014.
The tombs are what people come to see. They stand in a wide garden and hold the graves of Murad II and his family — twelve of them inside the walled burial ground, one outside it.
