The tomb of Pir Sücaeddin İlyas, also called the Upper Pirler tomb, stands within Pirler Park south of the Çilehane Mosque in Amasya. It was built in 1486 by Gümüşlüzade Ahmet Bey in memory of Şeyh Pir Sücaeddin İlyas. Within it are the graves of Pir İlyas's son-in-law Pir Celaleddin Abdurrahman, of his grandson Pir Hayreddin Hızır Çelebi and of their families. The tomb was thrown down and damaged in the earthquake of 1895, and was restored afterwards to the form it has today.
The building is rectangular, laid out across its width, and the interior is divided into three parts by pointed arches resting on buttresses in the north and south walls, each part covered by a dome. The western part, with a prayer niche cut into the qibla wall, is used as a mosque.
The tomb is built of regular cut stone and takes its light through the arched windows at the front. At the entrance are the building's original architectural inscription and inscriptions of the reign of Abdülhamid II, restored.
