The saddlers' bazaar is one of the historic bazaars inside the covered market of Kahramanmaraş, and it is a working one: the craftsmen make their goods there by traditional methods, with awl, hammer, compasses, scissors, needle and pliers.
What comes off those benches is horse gear and leather work — collars, saddles and saddle cloths, girths, breeching, horse beads, halters, cases, leather aprons, belt stock, woven straw work, animal ornaments, wallets, saddlebags and grips among them. The bazaar is on Mazman Sokak in the Kurtuluş quarter of Dulkadiroğlu, easily reached from any part of the city by minibus, public bus or taxi.
