The water at Sıcak Çermik comes out between 46 and 50 degrees, at a spa 31 kilometres from the centre of Sivas on the Ankara road. The provincial directorate gives its composition as sodium, sulphate, hydrocarbonate, magnesium and carbonate, and lists rheumatism, the nervous system, the respiratory tract, metabolic disorders, the kidneys and urinary tract, circulation and heart conditions among the complaints it is used for.
There is a rehabilitation centre on the site, attached to Cumhuriyet University. The spa is reached by road.
