The Sivas City Museum occupies the ground floor and basement of the historic Government House, and its subject is the whole span of the city — from the first traces of life in Sivas through thousands of years of history to its social and cultural life today.
It is built as a presentation rather than a collection: documents, images, reconstructions, video, interactive screens and other technology carry the stories of the city.
