The great mosque of Tut stands in the centre of the district, and according to the building inscription on the base of its minaret it was put up in 1736-37. The minaret is of regular cut stone, as are the east and south walls of the building; the porch for latecomers has two arches.
The roof is flat and covered with sheet metal. Inside, three rows of arches rest on rectangular piers and columns, and the ceiling above them is boarded in wood. It is within walking distance in the centre of Tut.
