Usuluk Köyü Nature Park is a holiday complex rather than a piece of protected nature, and the directorate says so itself. Its page states that the park contains no natural habitats and therefore no natural fauna either, and that the only naturally occurring plant is red pine, present in a limited number of individuals; the rest of the planting is ornamental and exotic species put in as landscaping.
What is there instead is 103 country houses, three accommodation blocks, five therapy health centres, two restaurants, a children's club, an indoor play area, a laundry, a health unit, a funfair, an aquapark, sports grounds and a cafeteria. Capacity is 1,470 visitors and 100 vehicles, with hours of 08:00 to 19:00, and a private company holds the concession.
The site covers 14.29 hectares at Torba in Bodrum district of Muğla province. It was registered as a type A forest recreation site in 1983 and declared a nature park by the ministry on 11 July 2011. It falls inside a second-degree natural site and within the Bodrum and Torba culture and tourism conservation and development region.
The entrance gate is on the D330 at the 42.5th kilometre of the Milas-Bodrum road, served by the 48-6 public transport line running between the two towns.
