Guide

A cable car climbs Babadağ from a base station at 226 m on the main road of Ölüdeniz, where tickets are sold; the line was built with the Swiss ropeway firm Bartholet. The first stop is at 1,200 m, with a footpath through cedar trees, an open-air theatre, a children's playground, a restaurant and a café terrace that looks down on the lagoon and out to the paragliders taking off.

At 1,700 m an observation terrace is known for its sunsets, a footpath passes a pond and cedar trees, and paragliders launch from this level. From here you can walk up to the 1,800 m station or ride a chairlift that is covered by the cable car ticket; at 1,800 m there is another footpath, a burger restaurant and a launch track. The summit station at 1,900 m has a sandwich bar, the Patara and Kuzey launch tracks, a footpath, and a flag flying over the top of the mountain.
