The museum opened on 3 April 2025 inside the Faculty of Fine Arts at Atatürk University, set up to present the cultural identity and the artistic tradition of the city.
What is on show is the faculty's own range of media: paintings, ceramics, sculpture and photography, among other groups of work. It is on the university campus in Yakutiye, open on weekdays from 10:00 to 16:00 and closed at weekends.
