The Aydınpınar falls lie by the village of the same name in the central district of Düzce, ten kilometres from the city centre, and the provincial directorate calls them one of the finest examples of their kind in the country. A footpath runs around the falls, and it is the walk rather than the falls alone that is recommended.
To manage the use of the site more sustainably and protect its natural assets more effectively, 100 hectares covering the falls and the ground immediately around them were declared a nature park on 25 August 2014. The main approach is from the D100 road from Sakarya and Düzce. The park has capacity for 6,000 visitors, 65 vehicles and 40 tents.

- Across Düzce as a whole, monthly mean temperatures run from 3.8 °C in January to 22.5 °C in July; the mean stays between 15 and 25 °C in May, June, July, August and September; rainfall is heaviest in December (101 mm) and lightest in July (47 mm). Long-term means for 1959-2025 from the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM).
