Kovanlık Nature Park has no day-use facilities: the Directorate General of Nature Conservation and National Parks states this in a separate notice on the park's page. It is a place to stay, not a place to spend an afternoon. The park lies in the Emecik neighbourhood of Datça in Muğla province, covers 5.76 hectares, and was declared a nature park on 11 July 2011.
Its position puts it inside two other protective designations at once: the Datça-Bozburun Specially Protected Area and a second-degree natural site. The dominant ecosystem is forest, covered in red pine and Mediterranean maquis.
Accommodation is the whole point of the site. There are 17 bungalow units with 68 beds between them and seven wooden bungalow houses of four beds; eight further units are under construction, listed with a capacity of 16 beds. A mosque was built inside the park and opened in 2025. Alongside these are a training building, a guesthouse, a laundry and store building, a country restaurant, a water well, and showers and changing cabins. Stated capacity is 98 visitors and 20 vehicles, with hours of 08:30 to 17:30.
The park stands at the 44th kilometre of the Marmaris-Datça road and can be reached on the 48-16 public transport service that runs between the two towns. It is managed by the Muğla branch of the 4th Regional Directorate.
