Çakıroluk was declared a nature conservation area on 28 July 2020 and covers 91.16 hectares at the Çakıroluk locality in the Tavas district of Denizli, for the natural assets identified there in survey work by the Directorate.
The plant cover is mostly coniferous — black pine, juniper and oak are the species named. Among the animals inside the protected area is a mountain frog endemic to Anatolia.
The Directorate places the area at Kızılcabölük in the Tavas district and gives its distance from the centre of Denizli as 12 kilometres.
