Acıpayam Canyon runs through the Benlik and Olukbaşı neighbourhoods of Acıpayam. It was opened to visitors only lately and its natural state is largely intact.
Water falls into it from cliffs of about fifty metres and stays cold and clear; in summer that is the point of going. In places the water lays down deposits and turns a blue closer to the sea than to a stream. There are old mills along the course.
The canyon is used for walking and for climbing, and it draws people travelling by caravan. Its wildlife is part of what is noted about it.
