Guide

The hot springs of Emet, a few kilometres from the centre of Emet district, are presented by the provincial directorate as among the oldest and most valuable thermal springs in Türkiye, with a history going back thousands of years. The water is hot and rich in sulphate, bicarbonate and calcium. The directorate lists it as supportive for muscle pain, rheumatic and skin conditions and herniated discs of the back and neck, and, taken as a drink, for stomach, intestinal and liver complaints.

The spa area has thermal and treatment pools and private family baths, a physical therapy and rehabilitation unit, spa hotels, apartments and guesthouses, a restaurant and café, and green spaces with footpaths, and it is open in every season. Those coming for treatment are advised to bring their medical documents, and booking ahead is recommended at busy times.
