Guide

Gediz Ilıcasu grew up around hot springs that rise on the south-eastern side of the valley of the Ilıca Çayı, in the Gediz district of Kütahya, and it was declared a thermal tourism centre by a Council of Ministers decision in December 2006. The Kütahya culture and tourism directorate says the water is good for rheumatism, for skin, nervous, joint and muscle diseases, and for kidney, urinary, digestive and gynaecological complaints. Visitors who want to stay can rent apartments, and an aquapark with a retractable roof can be used in both summer and winter.
