Guide

The thermal springs at Yenice, a small town south-west of Emet in Kütahya province, produce hot water rich in bicarbonate, sulphate and calcium. It is used for both bathing and drinking cures, and the Kütahya directorate of culture and tourism presents it as a supportive treatment for rheumatism, joint and muscle complaints, herniated discs in the back and neck, skin disease and orthopaedic problems.

Lodging ranges from hotel-style rooms to apartments and guesthouses. The spa has thermal pools, family and private baths, a physiotherapy unit and rest rooms, along with walking paths, green spaces and places to eat, and it is open throughout the year. The directorate advises those coming for treatment to bring a doctor's report or health documents, and to book early at busy times.

Getting there

Yenice is about 90 kilometres from Kütahya city centre. It is reached by car, and there is parking at the spa.
