The culture centre houses the Adana directorate of the state theatres, the state fine arts gallery and the provincial public library.
With its theatre, painting, music and folk dance events it stands at the centre of cultural life in the city, and it is a common meeting place for readers as well. Opera, ballet and concerts are also given in the theatre hall.
The building has two exhibition halls, one seating four hundred and the other five hundred.
It is in the city centre and easily reached by minibus and by public and municipal buses.
