The coves of Kızılbük and Hayitbuku lie within the bounds of Mesudiye village in the Datça district, close to the ancient city of Knidos, so the two can be combined in one trip. Hayitbuku is known as one of the finest coves in Datça, with a calm, clear turquoise sea and a soft sandy beach. Around it are restaurants serving local food, guesthouses and cafes, and the cove is used for sailing and canoeing.
Immediately east of Hayitbuku is Kızılbük, also known as Gabaklar beach. It is the quieter of the two — people come here to dive in the clear water, to fish and to walk.
