The Marmaris Halıcı Ahmet Urkay Museum is a private museum in the Marmaris district of Muğla showing archaeological and ethnographic works. It carries the name of its owner and founder, the businessman Ahmet Urkay, and stands at the Taşhan locality in the village of Çamlı, thirteen kilometres from the district centre. It came into operation in 2005.
The museum has 1,800 square metres under roof and displays a collection of 3,500 pieces gathered by Urkay on his travels. The collection has two parts, archaeological and ethnographic, and holds Ottoman ewers, carpets and kilims, cradles, tiled stoves, jewellery and ancient column capitals. It continues to grow with works belonging to Urkay, who holds a collector's certificate.
