The Piribaba oak stands on a valley floor at Çürüttüm village in Seyitgazi district of Eskişehir province, and was registered as a natural monument on 20 April 2001 on 0.02 hectares. It is a pedunculate oak, estimated at 350 years old and 16.5 metres tall, with a general appearance the directorate records as well-formed. The page does not explain the name.
Every monument-tree page the Eskişehir directorate publishes gives the trunk diameter as exactly 1.30 metres — this juniper, its two neighbours, both of the province's protected oaks and the hazel at Karageyikli alike, whatever their species, age or height. A figure repeated identically across trees that differ in every other respect is not a measurement of any one of them, so it should not be relied on.
The site lies under the western-central Anatolian climate. Capacity is 25 visitors and one vehicle, with hours of 08:00 to 18:00.
The road from Eskişehir runs through Seyitgazi to Çürüttüm village, 88 kilometres in all.
