The Sille Museum stands at the entrance to Sille, in a building of the local stone the village is known for. It served earlier as a school and then as the municipal building; Selçuklu municipality restored it and opened it as a museum in 2017.
It runs to 750 square metres over two floors. The ground floor holds the Kisve-i Şerif — the inner covering of the Kaaba — found in an outbuilding during the restoration of Sille's Çay Camii, manuscripts from the Sille medrese, and scale models of the important buildings of the village.
The upper floor covers daily life between the 18th and 20th centuries: Sille pottery and carpets, dress, and the objects of its kitchen and bathhouse culture. One local curiosity to look for is the rubber sandal made from lorry tyre, described as the first patented product of Konya.
The museum opens six days a week, 10:00 to 18:00, closed on Mondays, and free guided tours are offered.
