Sis Dağı Tabiat Parkı covers 24 hectares at the Üvezlialan locality in the Şalpazarı district of Trabzon and was declared on 12 March 2019 for the biological diversity requiring protection there and for the character of its landscape.
The trees are middle-aged and old, with shrubs, bushes and herbs among them. Recorded here are oriental spruce, hornbeam and oriental hornbeam, alder, tree of heaven, Pontic rhododendron and yellow azalea, black locust, oriental beech, chestnut, sessile oak, alder buckthorn, bladdernut, pear, blackthorn, rowan, cherry laurel, white willow and black poplar.
Stated capacity is 2,000 visitors. Şalpazarı is 78 kilometres from Trabzon and 24 from Akçaabat, and the park is 7 kilometres from the town. Buses and minibuses run as far as Şalpazarı; the last 7 kilometres are by taxi. Trabzon airport is 80 kilometres away, and there is no railway in the province.
