On the Karadere route 43 kilometres south of Araklı, Pazarcık is a highland village centre where the road to Gümüşhane by way of Yağmurdere and the road to Bayburt by way of Aydıntepe pass through. The yayla is surrounded by forest, and the provincial directorate suggests it for nature walks, plant study, cycling trips or simply rest. There is a telephone service and places to shop.
