Guide
From the hillside village of Akpınar, 7 kilometres from Eğirdir, almost the whole of Lake Eğirdir opens up below you, with the Yeşil and Can islands, the Barla and Anamas mountains and the Boğaz plain all in view. At the photo point a café built like a traditional yörük nomad tent and a set of viewing terraces let you take it in over tea and gözleme, and the view makes for good photographs at any hour of the day.
Getting there
From the centre of Eğirdir, take the road towards Lake Kovada. Before you reach the Eğirdir Bone and Joint Diseases Hospital, turn right onto the road that climbs the hill and follow the signs for Akpınar. The photo point is at N37° 50.702′ E30° 51.076′.
