Ayıkayası Nature Park lies in the central district of Bolu, was declared on 29 August 2014 and covers 446 hectares. It forms a whole with the Yedigöller National Park.
The vegetation is rich: beech, Scots pine and fir forest with clearings between. Four hundred and sixty-two plant species have been identified here, thirty of them endemic and some among species under threat. The area is also rich in animal life.
Getting there
The park is reached by a journey of about twenty-eight kilometres along the main Bolu–Yedigöller National Park road.
