The second juniper at Kayı village is the oldest of the four protected there: an estimated 730 years, against 665 for the first, 645 for the third and 520 for the fourth, which is registered under the name Kayı Ardıcı. At 12 metres it shares the greatest height with that fourth tree. All four were registered together on 4 April 2001; this one covers 0.01 hectares.
Every monument-tree page the Eskişehir directorate publishes gives the trunk diameter as exactly 1.30 metres — this juniper, its two neighbours, both of the province's protected oaks and the hazel at Karageyikli alike, whatever their species, age or height. A figure repeated identically across trees that differ in every other respect is not a measurement of any one of them, so it should not be relied on.
Its general appearance is recorded as well-formed. It stands on mid-slope ground under the inner Anatolian climate. Capacity is 20 visitors and one vehicle, with hours of 08:00 to 18:00.
The village lies 83 kilometres from Eskişehir, and the tree is on the main road.
