The bath stands south of the Sitti Radviyye medrese, known as the Hatuniye, and covers a nearly rectangular area. Its date is worked out from a document rather than from the building: in the endowment deed of the medrese, carved into the wall and dated 1206, the bath comes first among the buildings named, and from this it is estimated to have been built around 1176-77, when the medrese itself went up.
Getting there: take a city minibus to the Üçyol area or to the Artuklu caravanserai and walk from there.
