Guide
Seyir Tepesi Şehir Ormanı is a city forest of 405,000 square metres in central Denizli, above Çamlık Parkı and the Pamukkale University campus. A giant rooster statue 27 metres tall is one of its most visited spots, and a swing gives an unusual view over the city.
For those after something livelier there are zipline towers running 725 metres with five stops, a 680-metre mountain sledge (Dağ Kızağı) with 40 cars, and a three-storey adventure course ten metres high with 36 activities.
The Turan Yolu path presents sixteen states founded over two thousand years of Turkish history. It was designed as a climb rather than a descent, to suggest a constant ascent, and at its top visitors come face to face with Atatürk; from there the Sonsuz Bahçe, a garden laid out in the shape of the infinity sign, carries the message that the Turkish empires each came to an end while the Republic of Türkiye will endure for ever. Şelale Park is a place to rest, the hill has camping and picnic areas, and meals are served at the Seyr-Et restaurant.
