This museum occupies a converted aircraft hangar inside the Kütahya air force training brigade command, in the centre of the city. It was set up with permission from the ministry and holds private-museum status; it opened in 2005.
What it shows is a mixture: the stone works of the Kütahya Museum alongside the museum's own archaeological pieces, coins and tiles, and oil paintings by artists from Kütahya.
One practical point the source does not settle: because the museum stands inside a military installation, entry conditions may not be the same as at an ordinary museum. The directorate's page says nothing about them, so ask before going.
