Fir II matches its neighbour Fir I in height and in recorded age — 55 metres and 417 years — but carries a noticeably heavier trunk, 1.57 metres across and 4.70 metres in girth. It is the only one of the eight Örümcek Forest monument trees for which the directorate records an altitude: 1,300 metres. All eight were declared together on 11 October 1995.
The register entry for each of the eight is measurements only. The province is Gümüşhane; the fields for district, access road, opening hours and visitor capacity are all empty. These trees stand in working forest, not in a laid-out visitor area, and nothing in the listing tells you where the trail or the parking is — ask the provincial branch of the directorate before setting out to find a particular numbered tree.
