Spruce II is the tallest of the eight Örümcek Forest monument trees, and by some margin: 61.5 metres, against 58.5 for the tallest fir. The Directorate General of Nature Conservation and National Parks declared all eight natural monuments on the same day, 11 October 1995: four firs and four Oriental spruces, numbered rather than named. Its trunk is 1.54 metres across with a girth of 4.85 metres, and the directorate gives its age as 400 years.
