Spruce III, one of the eight Örümcek Forest monument trees, stands 52.5 metres tall on a slim trunk, 1.21 metres across and 3.81 metres in girth. The Directorate General of Nature Conservation and National Parks declared all eight natural monuments on the same day, 11 October 1995: four firs and four Oriental spruces, numbered rather than named. The directorate gives its age as 400 years.
