Guide
Saklıkent sits up in the Bey Dağları west of Antalya, 50 kilometres north-west of the city centre. It is close enough to the city that the provincial directorate of culture and tourism presents it as one of the few places where a single day can take in two seasons.
The ski season here is short, the climate is continental, and snow lies 50 to 100 centimetres deep during the skiing months. Two T-bar lifts serve two runs, one easy and one of intermediate difficulty.
Getting there
The road from Antalya is 50 kilometres long. Buses, taxis and hotel shuttle vehicles make the trip from the city in about an hour.
