Guide

The hot springs of Hisaralan rise 3 km southwest of the village of Hisaralan in Sındırgı district, and the water flows out of its own accord at 172 litres a second. It is a sodium bicarbonate water that contains fluoride.

The provincial directorate describes the springs as effective above all for painful conditions of the musculoskeletal system, and also lists women's complaints, rheumatism, neuralgia and neuritis. Visitors can stay at a ministry-licensed hotel at the springs or in guesthouses nearby.

Getting there

Hisaralan village is 17 km from the district centre. Buses on the Simav–İzmir route, and the village minibuses that use the same road, serve the springs.
